SKATER BOI STYLE

Skater boy style is still a huge hit with teens (and grown-ups!) who look up to the likes of Tony Hawk and Christian Hosoi. Looking good whilst boarding is of huge importance to skater boys so get your product range right and you’ll earn yourself some loyal customers.

Hoodies are a signature look for skateboarders, given their comfort and warmth when needed. Check out Evil Clothing for colourful hoodies (pictured) with a twist for both girls and boys and help your board-crazy buyers stand out at the skate park.

Accessories are also key to the skater style, from scarves and hats to key chains and watches. Head straight to Nemesis Watch, for the best in street style and stock up on designs like this chunky timepiece (pictured) from their Skull Watches range which comes at a wholesale price of $18.00. Bold and on-trend, these watches are eye-catching and cool.

Hats and caps are a key look as well as keeping the sun out of your eyes while practising tricks. Accent Accessories offer some fantastic baseball and flat peak caps (pictured) with prices ranging from just £1.95 to £2.95.

TRASH FASHION RULES IN 2010

Trashy pop and trashier fashion are headed our way in 2010 with Queen of Trash Ke$ha even admitting that she ‘bought this incredible vest off a homeless man recently’. The look is characterised by rock-chick hair, mini-skirts, tight pants, smoky eyes and ripped stockings.

Pamela Mann’s forthcoming 2010 look-book (available from late January) is littered with trash fashion and we love their ‘Snake Tights’ at £2.50 per pair and ‘Shred Tights’ at £3.50 per pair (pictured) for show-stopping legs.

Lena Quist was designing trash fashion when the music world was still obsessed with squeaky-clean pop stars. Now her Spandexxx range is the height of fashion and this gorgeous ‘Leather Spandex Hole N Star’ club dress (pictured) is an absolute must-have! Handmade in Sweden in high quality fabrics, the dress features two revealing holes in the side of the waist and two stars on the hips.

It’s all in the eyes with this style and Manic Panic are expert in creating a dramatic look. Go for their Vamp Lashes (pictured) which are the thickest fullest, blackest and most popular lashes in their Glam Lash line and wholesale at £3.35 per pair. We also recommend their Spider Liner gel eyeliner in Raven $8.55 wholesale.

The Spring 2010 range from Lip Service boasts a bevy of edgy designs for lovers of the trash fashion style. Check out their Lace-Up Front Vinyl Corsets and these super-short Mini Skirts with an added tulle layer (pictured).

JEWELLERY FOCUS

Any outfit can be set-off beautifully with a great piece of jewellery and a selection of great designs can make an easy add-on sale for any business. The key to success is a mix of trend-led pieces and timeless, quality designs. Here’s some of our favourites.

These cute Scented Donut Necklaces (pictured) from Extreme Largeness come in packs of 6 assorted colours and look and smell like real Dunkin’ Donuts. The donut pendants are 5cm wide and come at a wholesale price of £2.00 each.

Sourpuss Clothing also have a range of new necklaces in stock at $9.00 wholesale, in the sea-faring shapes (pictured). The necklaces are made with tarnished alloy and enamel and are lead and nickel free as well as featuring an adjustable chain.

Alchemy offers a huge range of edgy jewellery from bracelets and earrings to necklaces and rings. We love these ‘Cursed’ stud earrings (pictured) featuring winged skulls and bones with a cursed scroll at just £3.67 wholesale.
